This pathfinder will help you find children and young adult fiction authors who have received the Newbery award. The Newbery is awarded annually to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children. You will be able to find links to biographies and interviews with these authors in print, podcasts and in streaming video. If you want to learn about the books these authors have written, then that information is available here too.

I'm at the library, now where do I go? Books about children and young adult authors are found in the biography section of the library. This section starts with the number 92. After the number is the first five letters of the author's last name. So, if you are looking for Jane Yolen, then books about her can be found at 92 Yolen.
Where can I find books written by my Newbery author?
Books written by Newbery authors will be in the fiction (F) section. They are in alphabetical order by the first five letters of the authors last name. If you want to find Snaggle Doodles by Patricia Reilly Giff look for F Giff.
